A Fathers view of Fathers day

I have to say I am still on cloud nine from father's day. I feel a special connection with Joesph on fathers day. To be the father of a child that is not from your flesh and blood ... never understood how he could just step in like that knowing the child wasn't his, until the day Abigail was placed in my arms. It was her first birthday and I was the one getting a gift. This little girl has been the apple of my eye since I first laid eyes on her. Jeremy came into our lives without notice a week before Abby's adoption was made final. My pride and joy Jeremy .... so scared when we first met .. for being 2 years old .. he had scene things that would make a grown man cry. Once he knew he was safe he turned in to my shadow. Things are still working out with D, we are praying for God's will and I have to be honest I believe he's mine, the 3rd Musketeer.

Adoption runs in my family, but really we are all adopted. Adopted by God into his family and shown an amazing love. God didn't sign papers like My wife and I did for the kids. He signed a cross. This is why father's day for me is so much more than gifts, naps and all the other things that come with the day. It's about an amazing gift I have been given, to see just a little bit of what He must feel like when he adopts us into his family.

My children are my Treasure, everyday with them is father's day.

Toy car out sells Honda and Toyota!

A classic toy car is being inducted into an auto museum in Cleveland - and it outsold every other car in the U.S. in 2008.

The Cozy Coupe, a plastic cherry-red sports car, allows toddlers to sit on a bench-style seat and poke their legs through to the ground. When they start walking, the car begins to go.

On Saturday, it will take its place next to historically significant automobiles at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum.

The Cozy Coupe sold 457,000 units in 2008, topping the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord

Free root beer floats tonight at Sonic

From 8 p.m. until midnight tonight, you can get a free root beer float at Sonic.
The deal is available at participating Sonic Drive-Ins. The free 10-ounce float is Sonic's way of thanking its customers, the eatery's Web site says. Just remember the lines were long for KFC grilled chicken .... I bet they will be even longer for Root Beer Floats!!!
